Workbook for writing in Shina prepared by Shina Language and Culture Society

Islamabad: The Shina Language and Culture Promotion Society Gilgit has prepared a workbook for those willing to learn Shina, one of the major languages of Gilgit-Baltistan. The workbook will be  available in print by the 25th of February. The workbook will enable Shina learners to write the language easily.

The Shina Language and Culture Promotion Society is playing a very important role in modernization of the Shina language. Late last year the Society had published a volume of the poetry of Shina language’s most renowned poet, Khalifa Rehmat Jan Malang.
