SUPARCO to celebrate World Space Week 2013 in Hunza Valley

Gilgit, September 26: Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), Pakistan’s premier space initiative, is planning to celebrate World Space Week in the Hunza Valley.

According to reports, numerous events have been planned for students and community members at Karimabad, Hunza, from 4th to 10th October. The planned programmes include Water Rocket Launching Competition, Speech Competition, Astronomy Night, display of SUPARCO documentaries, “Space Walk” and Space Exhibition, among others.
