Chitral police recovers stolen coal tar!

Chitral, November 4: Chitral police recovered 9 barrels of stolen coal tar (Taarcoal) and arrested a person on charges of theft.

838According to SHO police station Chitral Inspector Iqbal Karim some 9 barrels Tarcoal were stolen from Bypass road which is under construction. A local staff of Arshad Shaheen contractor of Dir complained to Chitral police that some 9 barrels coal tar was stolen from Bypass road. Chitral police informed all police officials in check posts on the way from Chitral to Peshawar.

On searching of a truck at Lawari top going to Peshawar Chitral police recovered stolen property of 9 barrels and arrested Muhammad Iqbal son of Muqaddar Khan, resident of Nowshera who was working as blacktopping worker at by-pass. The stolen barrels were carrying in a truck bearing registration number DMR 1453 and driver Irshad is also under custodian of Chitral police. Driver Irshad revealed that he loaded these goods for Muhammad Iqbal at 11 PM and was arrested at Lawari top at 5. AM next morning. Chitral police lodged FIR under section 379 of Pakistan Panel Code and 14 Islamic Law and started further investigations.

Meanwhile contractor Arshad Shaheen highly appreciated efficiency and quick action of Chitral police who recovered stolen property and arrested accused  in this case timely. He said that such honest police officials must be promoted and honored with cash prizes.
