50 bed hospital completed in Astore, says Haji Gulbar Khan

ASTORE, Dec 17 (APP): The government is working on a strategy to monitor the performance of doctors and paramedical staff of all hospitals, said Provincial Minister for Health Gilgit-Baltistan, Haji Gulbar Khan on Tuesday. “We are utilising all out best available resources to upgrade health sector in Astore”, he added. He said that fifty bed hospital in Astore has been completed and this facilities to avail to the people of Astore and other adjacent valleys.

He further said that we will finish the deficiency of medicines and medical staff from all the hospitals of Gilgit Baltistan and will recruit doctors as and when required.

He also said that it was noted that some doctors were not doing their duties in farflung areas but I instructed them clearly that if they will not do their duties in these areas they will be treated badly and strict disciplinary action will be taken against them.

Now all the doctors are doing their duties properly in the far flung areas of Astore and other districts, he added.
