Imran Khan to move court against appointment of Gilgit-Baltistan’s caretaker Chief Minister
Islamabad, February 4: PTI Chief Imran Khan has announced to challenge the appointment of Sher Jahan Mir as the caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the chairman of PTI said that the PMLN central government had appointed its own members and favorites in the caretaker government of Gilgit-Baltistan. He said that PMLN is busy in carrying out pre-poll rigging in the region even before the candidates have started their electoral campaigns.
He said that the cronies of PMLN have been given important designations in the caretaker set-up. He said that the appointments are unconstitutional and illegal and announced to challenge it in a court.
