Karachi, April 12: (PR) On the invitation of prince Shah Salim Khan of Hunza, HGISF cabinet along with VO Heads of its federating units held a fruitful meeting here on Sunday. The objective of the said meeting was to discuss current issues of GB Youth and the Impacts of Economic Corridor between Pakistan and China.
Chairman HGISF Mr. Shahzad Baig updated Salim about the issues faced by the students of Hunza/Gilgit residing in Karachi, including job recession, difficulties in educational sector, current challenges to the federation and objectives set by HGISF for 2015-2016.
Shah Salim Khan welcomed the HGISF Cabinet and representatives of Village Organization at Sindh Club Karachi and shared the objective of the said visit to Karachi. Mr. Shah Salim Khan expressed his deepest concerns for the development and empowerment of youth force in Gilgit-Baltistan, as well as in urban areas of Pakistan.
Reiterating his commitment to strengthen the Youth of Hunza/Gilgit, Mr. Shah Salim Khan said that the Economic Corridor between Pakistan and China will open new doors of economic growth for the people of Hunza and Gilgit.
He highlighted the importance of Hunza region for Micro and Macro Trade between Pakistan and China. He emphasized on the youth of GB to come up and take maximum advantage of the economic corridor. He ensured that the Economic Corridor will produce thousands of Job Opportunities for young Professionals of GB who can utilize their potential for the Economic Growth of Hunza/Gilgit.
Shah Salim Khan highly appreciated the HGISF and its federating units for their outstanding services and contribution towards Social Sector and Youth Empowerment. Prince assured that Royal family of Hunza will always extend their support for the betterment of Hunza and Gilgit in particular and GB in general.
Shah Salim Khan ensured HGISF that he will visit Karachi on time to time bases and will play his role to resolve the core issues of Youth residing in Karachi.
