The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), under its Enhancing Employability & Leadership for Youth (EELY), has announced a training programme in laboratories for qualified youth of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral in collaboration of Aga Khan University Hospital.
1- TRAINEE TECHNOLOGIST – CLINICAL LABORATORY
Trainees will undergo a one-year training programme, which will be imparted through classroom lecture and bench training to provide in-depth knowledge of blood bank and laboratories. Candidates must have MSc in Biological Sciences or Medical Technology with minimum of second division or an equivalent qualification. The traineeship selection process will include written assessment of shortlisted candidates and panel interview for final selection.
2- TRAINEE PHLEBOTOMIST – CLINICAL LABORATORY
Trainees will undergo 3 to 4 month training programme, which will be imparted through classroom lecture and bench training to provide in-depth knowledge. Candidates must have graduation degree with minimum of second division or an equivalent qualification. The traineeship selection process will entail written assessment of shortlisted candidates and panel interview.
