SCO launches cellular service in Shimshal Valley

Hunza: Special Communications Organization (SCO) has launched its cellular services in the Shimshal Valley of Hunza District, located close to the Sino-Pak border.

Director General SCO, Major General Amir Azeem Bajwa, Commander FCNA, Major General Saqib Malik and officials of SCO traveled to the Shimshal Valley to inaugurate the service yesterday.

The inaugural ceremony was attended among others by Sharif Khan, President Ismaili Regional Council for Hunza and SCO’s brand ambassador Samina Baig.
