Team Shah Talib has won the first Intra Tehsil Women’s Cricket Tourament held in Gojal Valley

Gojal: Hussaini Shah Talib women’s cricket team has won the first Intra Tehsil Women’s Cricket Tournament played in Khudabad village of Gojal Valley, Hunza.

Playing first, Hussaini Shah Talib women’s cricket team scored 104 runs. Salvina remained the highest scorer for her team, playing a knock of 36 runs.

While chasing the target, Ghalapan Women’s cricket team was bowled out at the score of 96 runs, losing by 8 runs.

Shabina Jabeen from Ghalapan was declared player of the final match. Salvina Saeed from Hussaini village was declared player of the series, while Sonia Shah Jami from Khudabad Royal Club was given a special award for scoring the tournament’s only half century.

The tournament was jointly organized by Gilgit-Baltistan Sports Board, Tehsil Cricket Association Gojal, Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board for Sost, and Khudabad Royal Club.
