Delegation of Gilgit-Baltistan students touring different parts of the country
Islamabad: (PR) A delegation of students from GB witnessed 23 March Pakistan day parade at Islamabad. The delegation has 25 students from KIU, APS and other academic institutions of all 10 districts of GB.
The delegation also visited PMA Kakul and Baluch Regiment Headquarters at Abbotabad. Later they also visited Taxila Museum and Panja Sahib, one of the most sacred places of the Sikh religion.
In Rawalpindi, the delegation visited the Pakistan Army’s Museum and also met Director General of ISPR at his office.
Currently, the delegation is in Lahore, where they are scheduled to visit Wagah border and witness the flag hoisting ceremony. They will also spend a day an Army Unit in the area.
The tour is organized by Gilgit-Baltistan government’s Social Welfare and Youth Development Department.
