GAHKUCH: Yasin Police has arrested three Christian missionaries, including a foreigner, and sent them out of the region. Religious literature, memory cards, DVDs and other faith related pamphlets have been confiscated.
According to details, a foreigner, identified as Stephen Haigar, and two Pakistani nationals, Qadeer Masih Khokhar and Sher Gill, were arrested while they were trying to convert the locals to Christianity. Hundred percent population of the region practices Islam.
The arrests were made based on information shared by the “Special Branch” of Police.
Police sources have reported that the missionaries were operating in the region “illegally”.
