CHITRAL: The Communications and Works Department of Chitral was left red faced during a surprise visit today.
Responding to public complaints, Assistant Commissioner of Chitral visited the department’s office, and found out that 50 out of the 98 staff were absent.
The Assistant Commissioner wrote a letter to the Deputy Commissioner, requesting action against the absent employees.
Public in Chitral have been complaining about the deteriorating condition of link roads, and other areas related to the C&W department’s scope of work.
