CM visits All Parties Hurriyat Conference-AJK office
ISLAMABAD (KMS): The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman visited the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter’s office in Islamabad.
Hafiz Hafeezur Rahman, during his meeting with the APHC-AJK leaders, assured them that the Government as well as people of Gilgit- Baltistan stood by their Kashmiri brethren in their struggle for right to self determination. He maintained that the hearts of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmiris throb in unison.
Paying tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs, he said it was due to the matchless sacrifices of the Kashmiri people that the Kashmir dispute had been highlighted at the international level.
Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman expressed the hope that the day was not far off when the Kahsmiri people would get freedom from Indian bondage. He stressed that unity among all political forces in Pakistan was must to effectively highlight the cause of oppressed Kashmiris at all world forums. At the end, the GB chief minister offered Dua for the Kashmiri martyrs as well as for Pakistan’s stability.
The APHC leaders who attended the meeting included Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Syed Aijaz Rahmani, Nisar Mirza, Shaikh Abdul Mateen, Ishtiyaq Hameed, Altaf Ahmad Bhat, Abdul Hameed Lone, Syed Manzoor Shah, Abdul Majeed Malik, Abdul Majeed Mir, Raja Khadim Hussain, Shaikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Muhammad Sultan Bhat, Manzoor-ul-Haq Bhat, Zahid Ashraf, Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani, Nazir Ahmad Karnai, Zahid Safi, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Shaukat Hussain Bhat and Mian Muzaffar.
