CHITRAL: Wildlife officials in Chitral have decided to send an injured wolf to Peshawar for treatment, because the district lack adequate facilities.
According to a report released by the Divisional Forest Officer’s office, the brown-colored wolf was taken into care after it was seen in an injured condition a place identified as “Ziyeet”.
The wolf was reportedly taken to a veteranry hospital in Booni town of Upper Chitral district for first-aid, It was later sent to Lower Chitral On October 31st. The wolf’s eye is reportedly badly injured and exposed, which has been operated on. The wolf is now being sent to Peshawar for advance care.
