On this day,I suggest that there should be a 1 minute silelce as a mark of respect to those who lost their lives in last years’ massive landslide.
There should be resolve to make the area and communities more resilient to natural disasters. Assistance and cooperation from NGO FOCUS should be requested to train the local communities.
NDMA/GBDMA should be requested to organise an International conference on Landslides,GLOF,avalanches as there a lot of them in area,so that international experts chalk out a long term strategy to adddress the issue.
