Football Tournament concluded in Drosh, Chitral

Chitral, September 17: Drosh Football Tournament concluded today at Chitral Scouts Polo and Football ground, Shahnigar Drosh. Twenty (20) football teams participated in the tournament. The final match was played between Brothers Eleven Potenyandeh Football Team and Hello Brother Langa Team. No team could score any goal until first half time. After half time Hello Brothers succeeded in scoring one goal, equaled moments after by the rival team. The match was decided on penalty kicks, in which Hello Brothers Langa team was able to win the match.
The tournament was organized by Shamsabad Sports Society, Drosh. Sameer Iltaf social organizer of Global Foundation for Human rights was chief guest on the occasion who announced 15000 for organizing committee, 5000 each for winner and runner up team. He stressed upon the youth to must participate in such beneficial activities for physical exercise and mentally fitness. A number of players complained that youth of Chital especially Drosh have best talent of Football and other games but unfortunately there is no public stadium in the whole Chitral. They said that one of our player Ghulam Rasool member of Pakistan National Football team and we can create so many Ghulam Rasool if the government provided us facilities and opportunities for boosting and improving of our skill by construction of a stadium in the area. A large number of spectators were present on the occasion. At last chief guest distributed Trophy and cups among the players. Akhtar Shah was given award of main of the tournament and Saleem man of the match.
