Maj. Gen Dr. Salman Ali gets Hilal-e-Imtiaz(M) for his outstanding services

Islamabad, March 23: Major General Professor  Dr. Salman Ali received Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) award today from the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, here in the federal capital. He had been nominated for the award last year.

Professor Salman Ali hails from Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan. He has remained the Principal of Army Medical College, Rawalpindi.

He is also the Chief Editor of Pakistan Armed Forces Medical Journal.

Born and raised in Gircha (Gojal Valley, Upper Hunza), Professor Salman is the eldest son of Mr. Sultan Ali, famously known as Master Samarqand, a renowned educationist and social reformer.

Professor Salman had graduated as a doctor from King Edwards Medical College in the 80s and later joined the Medical Corps of Pakistan Army, where he has been serving with dedication and zeal for more than three decades.
