Ghizar Students Federation organized a program in Karachi

Karachi, June 14: The Ghizar Students Federation organized an ‘educational and culutral’ program in Karachi. Speakers from various walks of life shared their insights about contemporary trends in educaiton and advised the students to sharpen their skills and indulge in activities that enhance their professional and personal characteristics.
The decision of GSF to launch a blood bank was highly appreciated by the speakers and audience. GSF has also engaged with various organizations offering technical educaiton to students. Representatives of such organizations also shared their veiws about technical educaiton with the audience.
Later on a cultural event was organized to entertain the audience. Famous Khowar singer Rehmat Ali, the person who first coined the term “Waadi-e-Shuhada” for Ghizar, perfomed in the event. Songs were also sung in Shina, Yasini Burushaski and Khowar. However, the Wakhis from Ishkoman did not present a Wakhi song.
Large numbers of students from all the four magistracies of Ghizar, Punial, Ishkoman, Yasin, Gupis, participated in the event. Leaders of various student organizations had also been invited.
