Obituary: Abul Hasan of Moorkhoon passed away

Karachi, 26 February: Abul Hassan 38, son of Muhammad Yaqub, and resident of Moorkhoon, Gojal, passed away in Skardu, Baltistan, due to a heart attack. His body was laid to rest yesterday at his native village. He was serving in Pakistan Army as a soldier. Hassan had fought in the Kargil war and was wounded in the line of service. He leaves behind a widow, three daughters and a son. We pray for the departed soul and wish him a place in Janat-ul-Fridous.
May God rest his soul in peace and give his family the strength to withstand this loss and pass the days of mourning in peace and tranquility.

I am shocked to read this tragic news. Abul Hassan was a very soft spoken person, one of those persons who epitomise calmness and humilit, he would always carry a smile.
May his soul rest in eternal peace and my prayers and heart felt grievances are with the family of the deceased. I feel sorry for not being present alongside anuty, uncle Jaab, Yonus, Shahzad and other family members of my late cousin and share the sorrow and grievance.

He was on his duty and suddenly got heart attack and in result he expired.

Abul Hassan (Late) a soft spoken smiling and educated gentle man, serving the Country with NLI. He left us with memories of a jolly full of life and love, an artist perfect with traditional Drum, Actor. An artistic carpenter skill inherited from his late father Mohd Yaqub. A true religious person with sound knowledge about the Persian legacy of the Ismailis. Perfect reader of both Arabic and Persian scripts. He was an example for the youth regarding theology and specially Ismilizim. A good sportsman with foot ball and volley ball.
Well he was a world in himself, with few and selective with his words.
