Sino – Pak border opening temporarily

Sost, March 2: The Chinese border at Khunz’hrav (misspelled and pronounced as Khunjerab) will be opened for a period of one week, beginning today. This unprecedented measure is being taken to facilitate the arrival of heavy machinery and a high contingent of laborers for expansion work on the Karakuram Highway.
