Our unsung heroes

In this grab from the DAWN website, Qurban Karim Qazi (Left, from Gulmit Gojal, Hunza) can be seen along with an unidentified colleague. They are volunteers of FOCUS HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE, trained in search and rescue operations during disaster. DAWN has featured them as “unsung heros”, along with a large number of other volunteers, police officials and other security officials.
