Flood in Niyaat Chilas and landslide in Sadpara Skardu

Islamabad: A landslide in Sadpara village of Skardu district has affected seven houses and destroyed fields and trees. A link road has reportedly also been blocked by the landslide. Events of boulder fall in different parts of Baltistan have also been reported.

In a separate flood incident houses, orchards, fields and a water channel have been badly affected in Niyaat valley of Chilas, Diamir. No casualty as a result of the above two events has been reported so far.
