All sports events cancelled in Gilgit, ban imposed

Gilgit, August 4: The government has imposed a ban on all sports activities in Gilgit city. All tournaments have been cancelled according to directives issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
The ban comes after a spell of violence that engulfed the capital city after two boys quarreled during a football match.
More and more sports is the answer – please do not put the cart ahead of the horse . Let the youth sort out the issue on the sports ground instead of the battlefield.
To band the sports activities In Gilgit Baltistan is not the solution to curb the voileance. it is to change the minde set for (toleration) so called civic affairs. or human equation.
