AKHSS Olympics concluded in Gilgit

Gilgit, October 4: The Aga Khan Higher Secondary School – Gilgit (AKHSS) recently celebrated the annual Olympics Week in which the students got an opportunity to compete in different sporting events.

Concluding ceremony of the AKHSS Olympics was attended by MLA Razi Udin Rizvi, chairman of the Public Accounts Committee at Gilgit – Baltistan Legislative Assembly.

In his speech Mr. Rizvi paid rich tributes to the Aga Khan Education Services Pakistan for spreading the light of education in the region. He also said that AKHSS has produced a new generation of highly skilled and ambitious youth who are going to play a very important role for development of the region.

Rizvi also distributed prizes among the students who excelled in different sporting events. Principal of AKHSS – Gilgit, Dawar Khan, also addressed the concluding ceremony. Also present at the occasion was GM of AKES, Khadija Khan, among others.
