Diamer: Protesters condemn Kohistan bus attack

Chilas, February 29: Thousands of people rallied in the headquarters of Diamer district against the murder of 18 people yesterday in Kohistan. The protesters demanded of the government of KPK to arrest the terrorists and punish them for the crime against humanity. The protest was organized by Ahl-e-Sunat Wal Jamat.
Speakers at the occasion condemned the incident and demanded justice for the victims. They also expressed solidarity with families of the victims.
This is a very “appreciative” efforts by the Ahl-e-Sunat Wal Jamat! The terrorists has nothing to do with Gilgit Baltistan! its the issue of KPK! and Govt of G-B should put pressure on the Gvnt. of KPK to arrests the terrorist!

Its highly appreciating that the people of Chilas & the religious groups have strongly condemned the heinous act of killing the innocent travellers at KKH. For centuries & centuries the people of these areas have been living together. Our people are deeply tied into cultural, social, lingual,historical bonds. I don’t think the locals of GB have any differences. If we could not curb these things right now, then it would cost a lot to overall the GB society, socioeconomic settings and the future of the coming generations overall.
Sadly these types of killings have taken place before. My questions and those that all the people of GB should be asking:
WHO WERE THESE PEOPLE
WHERE DID THEY COME FROM AND WHERE DID THEY GO
WHICH VILLAGE OR LOCALITY DID THEY USE TO ESCAPE
WHO PROVIDED THEM WITH THE FUNDS
WHO ARE THE PEOPLE BEHIND THEM
WHY HAS THE ISI – MI – IB – POLICE AND OTHER AGENCIES NOT HAD ANY CLUE TO SUCH ACTIVITIES
AND FINALLY … WHY DOES IT TAKE THE FEDERAL INTERIOR MINISTER TO COME TO GB AND ACCEPT DEMANDS AND ISSUE ORDERS. IF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT IS SO WEAK THEN PLEASE THROW THEM OUT AND GET A NEW SET OF LEADERS IN, WHO CAN MANAGE THE AFFAIRS OF GB AND PROTECT ITS PEOPLE AND NOT LIVE LAVISH AND PROTECTED LIVES WHILE THE POOR PEOPLE SUFFER!
WE SHOULD KEEP ASKING THESE QUESTIONS AND NOT STOP TILL WE GET THE ANSWERS. PLEASE DONT FOR GET THE PEOPLE WHO WERE SLAUGHTERED, DONT LET THEM HAVE DIED IN TERROR FOR NOTHING!
That was really a sad incident and now its the responsibility of authorities to catch the terrorists and punish them.
May Allah protect us all and give us strength to unite.

its not the question of believe! this tragic incident should not be taken out of context. Every individual who would have iota of humanity would condemn this gruesome incident with every possible words.the people of Diamar or Jam’aat e Ahl-e-Sunnat at least took the initiative which was long over due. if your statement would be taken into account the people wouldn’t gather to condemn even though alot of Chilasis are murdered in cold blood in Gilgit city. The point is whatever has been propagated from mosques irrespective of the communities concerned isn’t the rallying force.this appreciative step on the part of Diamer should be encouraged so that communities across GB would follow the suit…
we should get unity and we must realize that the element of such activities are not bc of any religious, they are doing it with their darkness aim , it would be a strong message to them when a joint hand to hand and show there deepest concern about, we assure them that we are peoples of mountains and lover of nature, I request all political and seculars to get together and tell them that your our common enemy and we will defeat you.
