Mehdi Shah blames bureaucrats for delays in payment of salaries to PWD workers

Gilgit, October 11: Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah has said that the delays in payment of salaries to the works of PWD has been caused by “ineptness” of some secretaries. He has also said that an investigation will be launched against the secretaries for deliberately causing the delays. He, however, did not name anyone in particular.

He said that such “inefficiency” will not be tolerate in the future, urging the Secretaries to put their departments in order and remove impediments for quick payment of salaries.
