Karachi: KAISWO celebrates 25 years of social services
Karachi: (PR) Khana Abad Ismaili Students Association Welfare Organization celebrated 25 years of existence and services at a ceremony held earlier this week in Karachi. KAISWO has been working for students’ welfare since 1987.
The event was held at Aga Khan Gymkhana Karachi. It was attended by a large number of guests, including Engineer Hisamuddin, former Chief Engineer of Gilgit-Baltsitan, PhD Scholar Naik Alam Rashid, Khush Ahamad Din, senior government official and the cabinet member of HGISF.
Awards were also given to bright professionals and students during the ceremony to encourage them more and appreciate their abilities.
Live Desi and modern music was performed by Shouq Band, RJ Zuhaib Alam, Desi Musical Band. Mubarak M. Ali delivered a witty comedy, desi dance and many of other items were performed by students.
A pictorial presentation was made to shed light on the past, present and upcoming activities of KAISWO. A lively cultural dance performance by guests of honour, notables and youth of GB was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
Traditional delicacy “Harisa” was served to guests during the program.
In the end token of appreciation were distributed among Guests of Honour and Special awards were given to the members of organization with outstanding services to make this event a success.
