ISLAMABAD (ONLINE): Islamabad Whites defeated Gilgit-Baltistan by 7 wickets in the league round match of Islamabad Regional Inter District Women (seniors) cricket Tournament, 2014 played at Marghazar Cricket Ground.
After winning the toss and batting first Gilgit-Baltistan team was bowled out for only 72 runs in 20.2 overs. Only Fazila Akhlaq & Diana Baig showed some resistance and 
Islamabad Whites achieved the target in 19.5 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Maryam Hassan remained not out with 35 runs which she made with the help of 6 fours. Huma Shafiq made 17 odd runs. For Gilgit Baltistan Arifa Shaheen took 2 wickets for 15 runs.
After two consecutive defeats the Gilgit Baltistan’s team is now out of the race for final.
