Granted Life
Irfan Uddin
Man is like a leaf of a tree tilted half unto river. His life depends upon the intensity of wind that blows it down into stream and rest of journey depends upon the splashes of water. The way it falls and feels, only the leaf could understand. Madness of survival leads it to discover the perils around and along the bank. Henceforth, it starts learning the joy and sorrow being part of the flow.
The crippled leaf’s survival depends upon the thoughts. Survival does not mean that it should come out of situation that has been forced upon but acceptance of situation. Same is the life where man is pushed into theatre with undisclosed role. He has never been asked whether he wants to be part of it. Only divine has placed a man into play. Life which is vague to possess and it always shadows a man in dreams. But, reality starts where dream ends. Although, we cannot transform the way we are put in, but we can handle it in finest ways. We as a leaf should accept the reality around us. The never-ending storms will barely listen to the plea. Seasons will work as ordered and thunder shall pluck you. Remain consistent and ready to jump with joy. Waves shall be proud of bravery and the paths would bring joys into life. Man cannot revive his life, but he can jump with sight of acceptance of situations which are hovering around him. In fact, companions would understand you but in reality no one could help with the ending. Wait for the end of life with stories of struggle.
