Triple murder over land dispute shocks Gilgit

Gilgit: Three people, including two brothers, were shot dead in Kot Muhallah of Baseen, Gilgit on Friday. One person was also critically injured during the violent clash caused by a land dispute between first cousins.

According to details, a man opened fire on his first cousins and others in the Baseen area of Gilgit over a land dispute. Three people, including two brothers, were killed, while one was critically injured. The deceased were identified as Asif son of Aqeel, Abdul Hadi son of Abdul Latif and Abdul Hafeez son of Abdul Latif.

One of the brothers is critically injured, and he has been shifted to Abbottabad for treatment. The murders were committed over a land dispute. The alleged murderer is reportedly a first cousin of the three murdered brothers. Police has arrested the alleged shooter.
