Sargodha University students from Gilgit-Baltistan welcome newcomers with a cultural bash

Sargodha: Students of Gilgit Baltistan based in Sargodha arranged a welcome party for new admitted students at University of Sargodha. Acting Vice Chancellor Dr. Afzal, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy Bashir Sajid, Professor Dr. Alamgeer and more than 100 hundred students were among the attendee. The students wearing the local cap and white dressed, also performed the cultural dance with the music of Shina and Balti. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Afzal said that he was very happy knowing that more than 100 students are studying in UOS. He maintained that that there is no insufficient talent among the students of Gilgit-Baltistan, adding that, that the juniors’ students should follow the seniors to understand the varsity environment. He also added that he was also ready to solve the problem of Gilgit-Baltistan students.
Professor Dr. Alamgeer hailing from Gilgit-Baltistan based in Sargodha said “we should transfer our moral and ideological knowledge to others which is empowered by the university and hardworking is first condition to reach the destination. Representing Gilgit-Baltistan he also welcomed and thanked the guest for participating the events. Earlier, a shield was presented to Zaheer Ahmad for compeletion of his degree by Acting Vice Chancellor. Dr. Basheer Sajid, Zaheer Ahamad, Aslam Rahi and others also spoke on this occasion. Later, the party swiftly turned into musical program and all student started to dance with the music.
