Female Madressa student ends her life by jumping in Chitral river

CHITRAL: A female student of a madressa in Mulkhow valley of upper Chitral committed suicide by jumping into the river, her father told the local police.

The father informed the police that her daughter was suffering from epilepsy. On Tuesday, she left home for her madressa but did not reach the class. Later, her teacher called the father and inquired about the absence of her daughter from the institution.
In the meantime, he added, a neighbour informed the family about the incident. The body of the girl was later recovered from the riverside in front of Kosht. The deceased had joined the madressa after pasing her intermediate exam.
