Banks will stop deducting taxes from Monday

GILGIT: Minister Works and Law Dr. Muhammad Iqbal and Aurangzeb Advocate Parliamentary Secretary have said that Prime Minister has approved the minutes of the meeting of Gilgit-Baltistan Council held in Skardu on 25th October. They said inland revenue department of GB has been directed to suspend all taxes deducted by banks under finance bill 2015-16.

Banks will start implementing this direction from Monday, they added. They said traders and political parties should not create troubles for the people of GB by closing businesses.
