GILGIT: Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations began with a 21-cannon salute in Gilgit

The celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi began early in the day with a 21-cannon salute at City Park Gilgit. The day is the observance of the birthday of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) which occurs in Rabi-ul-Awwal, the third month in the Islamic calendar.
