Chitral: Young girl “commits suicide”, another girl dies in road mishap

CHITRAL: A young girl in Drongagh village of Gohkeer, Upper Chitral has reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself with a rope.
According to information shared by SHO of Mulkho, Miss Habiba Jamal, 20, a third-year student at Girls college has committed suicide by hanging herself with a rope at her house.
The SHO said that this is 8th suicide case by women during the last 6 months in Mulkho, and the 13th case of suicide in Tehsil Mastuj.
Mulkho police told that parents of Habiba Jamal did not allow autopsy of the deceased. Therefore, the police has not registered a First Information Report (FIR).
Road Accident:
According to SHO police station Booni, a married woman, who was student of women vocational and technical center Booni, was hit by a jeep (number D-6448) near Junalikoch. She was on her way to the vocational center when the accident took place. The woman, who sustained serious injuries during the accident and also became unconscious, was rushed to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Booni, where she breathed her last.
Booni police has lodged FIR against an accused Sher Ali S/O Zota Khan and started further investigations.
