Kalasha cultural identity is under threat: Lakshan Bibi

Lakshan Bibi, renowned Kalasha activist and author, has said that the identity of the people of Kalash Valley is under threat due to various reasons.

She said that the Kalasha children are not being taught about their own culture, due to which they are unable the appreciate the value of their own identity.

She said that the government needs to allocate more resources for the preservation and promotion of the Kalasha cultural identity. She said that the Kalasha children should be proud of their identity and should never shun it.
