Ashura processions peacefully held in Khapulu, Ghanche

Ghanche: Mourning assemblies and processions of 10th Muharrram, held to pay tribute to the the martyrs of Karbala, especially Hazrat Imam Hussain, ended peaceful amid tight security arrangements in Khapulu, Ghanche.
The main procession was taken out from Fatima Masjid Chaqchen and culminated at Muldumer Masjid while passing their traditional route where as the mourning assembly of Noor Bakhshia sect were held at Jamia masjid chaqchen in early in the mourning and following at Khanqah Mualla Khaplu.
The mourners also beat their chest while reciting devotional poems, holding black flags. Stalls of water and other offerings (Sabeel) were also set up for the mourners along the procession route.
At the Jamia Masjid Ahle Sunnat the verses of Holy Quran were recited for the soul of Hazrat Imam Hussain and other martyrs of Karbala.
In all procession and assemblies the clerics and scholars discussed the life of Imam Hussain and the philosophy of Karbala.
The government health department had declared an emergency in the District Hospital Khaplu to provide health facilities where as police, Rescue 1122 and administrative staff were also on duty .
