KARACHI: The students of Abruzzi School Shigar won the national final of Enterprise Challenge Pakistan held in Karachi on Thursday.
The final of the ECP 2017 were participated by the winning student teams from all the 4 provinces, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Abruzi School Shigar had qualified for the final by winning the provincial challenge after competing with over 18 schools of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Enterprise Challenge Pakistan is a Prince’s Trust International Initiative and was launched in Pakistan in September 2015 after a successful run in the UK since 2008.
The programme is delivered in Pakistan by SEED, a Social, Entrepreneurship and Equity Development Company.
It is essentially a simulation challenge designed to instil entrepreneurship in young people in the age bracket of 13-16 years, who learn the basics of setting up their own enterprises with the help of mentors. In Pakistan, Enterprise Challenge has been executed at national level, across the country in different schools ensuring representation of all provinces.
