[Obituary] Noori Hayat passed away in Karimabad

Islamabad, November 03: Noori Hayat, 96, famously known as “Khalifa Bulbul” passed away in Karimabad, Hunza, on monday. He was among the few earliest teachers of Hunza.

Indeed a great los for the family and community. He was the first Teacher of DJ School Shimshal (1947-1948). His memory of the past days was brilliant. I got opportunity to interview the late Khalifa thrice. May Moula bless his soul with eternal peace and give his family the courage to bear the irreparable los.
