Imran Khan remembers the Mega-Watts, forgets GB

PT Report

Islamabad, October 30: Speaking at a huge rally in Lahore, attended by hundreds of people belonging to Gilgit – Baltistan, Imran Khan forgot to mention Gilgit – Baltistan. He, however, said that Pakistan has the potential to generate up to 60,000 MW of electricity. It is a fact this much electricity cannot be obtained without benefiting from the Diamer Dam and Sadpara Dam, which are going to be located in Gilgit – Baltistan.

Supporters of PTI and Imran Khan in Gilgit – Baltistan have expressed disappointment over their leader’s inability to mention GB, even once, during his speech, attended by thousands of people at the historic Minar-e-Pakistan.

They have demanded of the PTI and Imran Khan to publicly announce their stand vis-a-vis Gilgit – Baltistan’s constitutional status and political future.

  1. Imran Khan announced his party policy statement on the issue of Kasmir during his speech. Hence, He expressed his views on the status of GB several times specially on the announcement of so called “Gilgit-Baltistan Empowerment and Self-Governance Order, 2009”. Imran wanted GB to be directly controlled by the government and state of Azad Kashmir. So what GBIANs were expecting to hear? Please stop dreaming and get up!

  2. i call him mr dangerous …remember the current govt has done a massive work but the period is going to be over so imran khan is a blank point for us ,

  3. Obviously Imran khan has no agenda for our beloved land. So we should not support his party because we have already heard what he said in his speech. Moreover one thing we should clear that we the people of north should stand united under one plateform to strive towards our rights of which we are deprived off for the last 67 years.
