26 students from Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral graduate form the Aga Khan University
Karachi, November 29: The Aga Khan University held its 27th convocation today. Dr. Tajuddin from Chitral was among the three PhDs who received their degrees at the convocation. He had successfully defended his dissertation last month. He belongs to the Shagram village of Torkho valley.
Dr. Khalida Aziz, from Hussaini village of Gojal Valley (Upper Hunza), was among the medical doctors who graduated from the Aga Khan University Medical College.
Among the graduates from the School of Nursing were 12 BScN students hailing from different parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral.
Twelve students from different districts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral received their Masters Degrees from the Institute of Educational Development, Aga Khan University. Among the IED graduates were students from Ghangche (3), Skardu (2), Diamer (2), Ghizer, Astore (1) and other districts of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Sami Ullah and Abdul Ghaffar belonging to Chilas (Diamer) were among the IED graduates.
In total, 382 graduates completed their studies in different faculties and departments of the country’s leading center of higher learning.
