  1. “Traditional yet modern, soft yet strong, is the emerging face of today’s woman, who is opting to live life on her own terms, daring to persue her dreams, indulging, while expressing her individuality.” These are not my words but are the words of a young female DAWN columinst. She has clearly drawn the clear picture of today’s young female faces.
Love and prayers for all their doings for a better future.

  2. “No nation can rise to the height of glory unless your women are side by side with you; we are victims of evil customs. It is a crime against humanity that our women are shut up within the four walls of the houses as prisoners. There is no sanction anywhere for the deplorable condition in which our women have to live.”
    Mohammad Ali Jinnah,
Although In recent decades, much progress has been made. On a worldwide level, women’s access to education and proper health care has increased; their participation in the paid labor force has grown; and legislation that promises equal opportunities for women and respect for their human rights has been adopted in many developing countries. The world now has an ever- growing number of women participating in society as policy-makers. But still there are so many countries where women didn’t know about their rights. They are facing discrimination and harassment in all spheres of life. They are victims of violence, with rape and domestic violence listed as significant causes of disability and death among women of reproductive age worldwide.
The majority of the world’s 1.3 billion absolute poor are women. On average, women receive between 30 and 40 per cent less pay than men earn for the same work and this is observed mostly in developed world.
Everyone knows that we are celebrating women’s day on 8th of March, in all over the world- but the question arises that why we are celebrating women’s day why not men’s day? It is obvious as human being that women have the same ability and rights as men have- than why there is gender discrimination? I need your opinions in this regard thanks.
