Ghulkin Students Association Organized a Career Seminar in Karachi

Ghulkin Students Association in collaboration with the Ismaili Council Garden Karachi organized a Career Orientation Program for the students of Gojal currently residing in Karachi on 23rd March 2008 at the National Council Hall Garden Jammat Khana as part of Navroz Celebrations. Barrister Shabnam Noorali was the chief guest of this probram.
Shabnam is the first female Ismaili barrister-in-law of Pakistan and her achievements include a long list. She was accompanied by Alwahiz Nasir Karim who spoke about career oppurtunities in Religious Studies, Salman Khimani who talked on overall perspective of Career Planning, Rozmin Rajabali who expressed her views about the Scholarship Department of AKES and Lt. Colonel Zahid Hussain who did his presentation on Army related fields and an another IBA graduate who had a very nice presentation in the end.
A large number of boys and girls and girls participated in the program, making it a resounding succes. The presentations were followed by a questions and answer sessionn.
Barrister Shabnam made a thought provoking speech at the end of the session and thanked GSA for organizing a ‘useful’ and ‘timely’ session. Positive feedback was given by the participants with regards to the quality of the speakers. The 5 hours long program ended with a light refereshment for the guests.
i would like to congrate the body of GSO for arranging this fabulous Career Orientation Program for the students that will help the new genration for choosing thier career in future being an educational planner i would like to suggest more such type of programes must be a part of GSO,s mession..and specially i will apperciade the efforts of Eng.aziz ali and Eng.muhammad ali for putting there contribution and knowledge to amke it more successfull..welldone

i would like to congratulate GSA for arranging such a fruitful program for the students, surly it will help to direct their career towards a sound destiny,
such kind of programmes on career planning are much more required in the villages of Gojal, where unfortunately the students passing SSC exam dont know much about the relevant courses and institutions they should join.

I personally found the students of Ghulkin very energetic,concious
mature and long life learner.My personally opnion is that: this is because of the educational environment which has been rpoviding for the students of Ghulkin.I hope next time theyy will extend the capacity of their programe and invite every students from Gojal.

fortunately i had the exposure to attend the career seminar of GSA in Karachi, it was good to see all these despite of the fact that GSA has a young manpower, such kind of seminar is also fruitfull to strengthen relations of southeren and northeren Jamat with each other. I would strongly recommend GSA office bearers to continue this tradition.
