Hundreds of traders and laborers moved from Sost

Sost, January 6: Hundreds of traders and laborers who were trapped in the border town were air lifted out of Gojal valley by the NDMA helicopters. The helicopters also brought in food and medicines.

These people were stranded due to the blockade of Karakuram Highway near Attabad, Hunza.

Hundreds of goods transporting trucks are also stuck in the Gojal valley due to the natural disaster.

Operations at the Sost Dry Port have also come to a halt.
