Peace, women empowerment, and tourism top priorities: Shama

KARACHI: Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Dr. Shama Khalid says that establishment of peace, women empowerment, removal of corruption and development of education and tourism is her main priorities.

This she said while speaking to media after paying a visit to the shrine of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah here on Sunday.

The governor said President Asif Ali Zardari is very positive about role and empowerment of women.

Dr. Shama said that people were very concerned about her nomination as the GB Governor.
