very good I like it, congratulations to our sisters particularly and brothers for this effort, I would suggest our brothers of the shimshaal Mountaineering school should add interested youth female and male from other villages of Gojal to this group, which can help them to be financially strong and also keep them busy in doing something good for themselves, for their families and area

My heartiest regards to those who are behind the creation of this mega project (not in finacial but in social terms). I also salute all the participants (particularly our women) for their couragious move towards an illimited recreative physical activity that will take them near the ‘skies’ of the universe both materially and environmentally. These are the initiatives that will matter positively for our future generations.
Please be confident in what you do and you’ll be super-human in the coming era.

My sincere congratulations to Qudrat Bhai for this wonderful initiative of promotion adventure at grass root level in Pakistan! and more encouraging Women adventurism is a very great step!
i believe this is what a way to guide the youths in to extreme sports such mountain adventure!
its beyond doubt that shimshal is home of peerless mountaineers , the contribution is unmatched to pakistani mountaineering history , its understood this valley will produce women mountain climbers at very nearest and future!

I am so grateful to know that Shimshal Mountaineering School has started such dynamic programs for youth (both male and female) in that region. I would say it is not a new for the female of that region. It exists from centuries. Our mothers and grandmothers used to do mountaineering by only having the simplest equipmentments of “sondalls and cleng” but now they are more equipped with latest protective equipments.
It is really a demanding program for our area. From the Attabad disaster experience our youth should learn the terms and techniques to live a livelihood life in this mountainous region. There should be summer vacation programs with the collaboration of The Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board, for male and female students who usually come to Gojal for vacations from different colleges and Universities. It will be a source of income generation for the school as well as students will get more opportunities to learn mountaineering and working on a unique plateform. We need a plateform get organized and come forward and work together.You may analyze from the current situation happening in gojal. We are not organized therefore we could not work with the organizations to get rid of that disaster. We only blame government where the government itself is in disastrous situation.
I would request all youth (male and female) from school to university level to learn mountaineering to bring back the livelihood history of your fathers and mothers.
I congratulate the board members of this school for initiating such a demanding program and I would request to extend this program globally through internet.
Congratulation to our brother and sisters for their great achievements keep it up.

Dear Qudrat, the participants, managment, BOD members and every one connected with the school, please accept my appriciation.
The initiative is great but you need to evolve the school into a sustained approach, where you do not need to be dependent on external financial resources… I mean always asking for grants!
I hope the school to have a strategy to have its own funding means- may be through membership and training costs!.
Better do some marketing in the schools and colleges/ universities in Pakistan.

Good initiative and encouraging women in this sport is wonderful. As Shimshal is very fertile to produing well known climbers like Mr.Rajab Mr. Meharban Shah Mr.Qudrat and to many other young climbers had already crossed mile-stone for their country in this particuler sport.
i am certain this school will start producing women climbers who will start representing pakistan nationally and internatioally.

this is an amazing news for sumone like me who really wanted to have sum kind of formal training before going to concordia, my dream so far, and all the other exciting peaks including nanga parbat whose beauty has ensnared me for such a long time.

Amazing to see Shimshali girls, born mountaineers like Shepas, doing a wonderful job in majestic mountains of once a Jammu & Kashmir State.Wish I could visit this heavenly place. From Indian side of Kashmir can’t go anywhere beyond Nubra or Gurez.
