630 e-content initiatives participated from 102 UN member states
Pamir Times is one of the best e-content initiatives selected from across the globe by the jury of World Summit Youth Award, 2010.
The Award ‘selects and promotes best practice in e-Content and technologicalcreativity, demonstrates young people’s potential to create outstanding digital contents and serves as a platform for people from all UN member states to work together in the efforts to reduce poverty and hunger, and to tackle ill-health, gender inequality, lack of education, lack of access to clean water and environmental degradation’.
Pamir Times had participated in the global competition under the ‘pursue truth’ category and it is with great pleasure that we announce being selected among the top three initiatives in this category.
The World Summit Youth Award winners for 2010 were selected out of 630 applicants hailing from 102 UN member states.
