News Editor of Radio Pakistan Gilgit, Mehboob Alam passes away

Islamabad, September 3. Mehboob Alam, Editor of Shina News at Radio Pakistan Gilgit has passed away in Islamabad.
Mehboob Alam had been associated with radio Pakistan in the news department since 1977. He contributed a lot to the improvement of Shina program at Radio Pakistan and started many new programs by himself. He belonged to Gulapur Punial.
Mehboob Alam was suffering from heart disease and was admitted to AFIC Islamabad a week before. Where he got heart surgery, but could not improve and was declared dead on Friday. The deceased body was taken to Gilgit by a helicopter. He has left behind a widow, three daughters, and five sons.

i would like to mention that Mr,Mehboob Alam, who’s contributed and served for the betterment of radio pakistan specially in shina programme.his contribution since 1977, to now is an example for all of our youngsters,who will take place and try to follow the path which they had been started from steps.its a great and as well as a big loss for us not only for his family.we are all feelling our heatest sorrow and grief upon his passed from this immortal world.
