"Government to fulfil its promise of separate GBLA seat for Gojal": Mehdi Shah

Islamabad, January 18: Gojal Valley is a hub of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and we will fulfil our promise of giving a separate GBLA seat for the region.
These views were, reportedly, expressed by Chief Minister of Gilgit – Baltistan, Syed Mehdi Shah, while talking to party workers in Gulmit, yesterday. He has also reportedly said that ‘the government is doing everything possible to alleviate sufferings of the local people but due to resource constraints the efforts get delayed’.
It is pertinent to note that the people of Gojal Valley had demanded a separate GBLA seat for their Tehsil before the assembly elections in late 2009.
