Uighur Muslims celebrate Eid in Gilgit

Uighur Muslims settled in Gilgit celebrated Eid yesterday in traditional style. Uighur cuisines were prepared specially for the occasions and the people met to share the happiness and joys of Eid together.

Several dozens of Uighur families have been settled in Gilgit city for more than six decades. They are active businessmen and professionals rendering valuable social and economic services for the region.
